THE LAW OF SETBACKS
Job 14:1-9
The word Setback connotes delays/hindrances, impediments, obstacles etc. These are all natural phenomenon that come with all works of life. Only those who live in the realms controlled by faith are able to triumph over such. In the kingdom, a setback is a comeback for better output. “Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways. When men are cast down, then thou shalt say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person. Job 22:29
If you ever had a setback as a child of God. Let it become an opportunity to turn your lemons to lemonades. If you ever had obstruction and challenges of various kinds, pray for Grace to enable you turn the tests into testimonies. One thing is sure, troubles don’t last always. Like I always say…every problem has an expiry date. If you have a setback then do a reset by God’s word for a lasting comeback. Your background like we use to say in the Agape family should not make your back to be on the ground. A setback is a critical decision point to decide the way forward not backward. Can you imagine Jesus getting to the cross at Calvary to turn back? Mission aborted? It is never in God’s record/purpose. He wins always! He reigns forever. And you carry His gene! It’s never the time to sit by the rivers of Babylon weeping.
Isaiah said, “the redeemed of the Lord return and come with singing unto Zion and everlasting joy shall be upon their head. They shall obtain gladness and joy…and sorrow and mourning shall flee away. Can you take a moment off this page to prophesy life into your situation? Speak positively for your joy and gladness to appear. Your setback could be a divine setup for your upgrade. Laugh at the face of the devil [the seemingly ugly situation]. Shout out with the voice of triumph!
