PRAYER IS THE KEY
If there is any potent weapon ever delivered to the believer to make him/her excel in life, it is the weapon of prayer. Remember that age-old song?

Jesus started with prayer
And ended with prayer
Prayer is the Master Key
Yes. This song captures fully the essence of prayer. It is the key delivered unto you to open locked doors, move mountains and enable you live like the god, you are on earth. You are gods and expected to live, talk and have results like gods. The supernatural should be cheap in your hands. The most difficult of tasks should be simple with you. The atmosphere of the environment should change for the better the moment you appear.
Solution should be available because you are around. Laban told Jacob “for I have learned by experience that the LORD hath blessed me for thy sake” (Genesis 30:27). Laban looked at his balance sheet since Jacob arrived and concluded that his profits were from God because of Jacob’s presence. When a man of prayer arrives on the scene, things should take a turn for the better.
Why is prayer that powerful and important? Why are we not feeling the same impact today as we had in the scriptures? Great questions but with simple answers! As already noted; prayer is a potent weapon in the hand of the believer. God gave prayer to man to communicate with him. You can worship him, thank him, eulogize him, ask of him, seek the way out of any difficult situation, decree healing and even negotiate your way out of knotty issues all in the place of prayer.
Prayer is bringing God into the situation of man; it is mobilizing the forces of the Almighty to assist the weak man. It is bringing the supernatural to impose upon the natural. We can go on and on in giving definition to prayer. Just know that when you kneel in prayer, you are calling on God to come to your situation. And he does. You see the impacts.
That is why the disciples came to Jesus and begged him “teach us how to pray”. They saw the power; they saw the answers. They saw the miraculous that followed the act of praying. And they asked: teach us how to pray. Prayer is still working as before. Someone said there is a God to answer if there is someone to pray! Just follow the principles. You will get the same results as of old. We will consider certain principles in the next treatise.
