HURT NO MAN
Matthew 5:44-48
We cannot afford hurting others. It is our lot to do good and not hurt others.run away from being hurt by others. However, as long as we live, many people will hurt us. But should we fight back and take revenge on everyone that hurt us? If we do, we will be fighting too many people. In fact revenge is a sign of ignorance and we are advised by God not to take vengeance. Hebrews 10:30 says:
For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again,
The Lord shall judge his people.
Psalms 94:1 O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.
As you live and relate with people, avoid an eye for an eye. Pray every day for you to live and overcome revenge and to live above hurt. Romans 12:21: Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.
Refuse to revenge. Rather do good in response to those who hurt you. By so doing you, are handing them over to God for it is written vengeance is mine. Romans 10:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Don’t only do good to those who hurt you but willingly pray for them. Doing good should be the preoccupation of every believer.
Matthew 5:44: But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Jesus Christ, the author of our salvation never set out to hurt any man for any reason. He endured human contradiction. Rom.12:3: For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
Leave vengeance to God, for vengeance is mine says the lord. Your refusal to revenge is a proof of superior knowledge above those who hurt you
