STAY TUNED TO HOLY SPIRIT
John 1: 32- 34
Every born-again child of God is given the gift of the Holy Spirit. He is our companion for life. However, it is not all of us that can claim truthfully that we are enjoying the communion of the Holy Spirit. To many of us, the Holy Spirit is someone very distant; one that we cannot access. Many don’t even know him. They have heard or read of Him. Yet the manifestation and expected fellowship and closeness is lacking.
So to stay connected to Holy Spirit we must relate with him as a personal friend. As a friend, we must talk to him from time to time, listen to him, welcome, thank and worship him. More so, we should avoid sin and the ungodly attitudes that will grieve him.
The Holy Spirit was sent to make life easy for us. The bible says that the Holy Spirit is our comforter. He is in our lives to teach us all things and bring all things to our remembrance. So in every aspect of our life we should consult him for guidance, for direction and to help us navigate this world.
To stay connected to the Holy Spirit, spend quality time in prayer, studying and meditating on the word of God. Precious Child of God, you need to stay connected to the Holy Spirit to be able to run the Christian race and for victorious living in this dark world, you cannot afford to be disconnected from him; he is your life. You must endeavor to know him better and enjoy his fellowship. Talk to him; ask him questions; request for guidance from him. He is there to make your life comfortable. The book of Acts is filled with wonders at the hands of the disciples because they gave prominence and deference to the Holy Spirit. If you will cultivate him, your life will be filled with wonders.
PRAYER: Holy Spirit, I need you every day, father uphold me with your right hand of righteousness so that I remain connected to the Holy Spirit. Amen.
