GOD WILL TREAT YOU WELL

Genesis 32:1-12

In our previous reading of this particular text,; our focus was on the fear of Jacob. How he was afraid of his brother, Esau. If you care to read the entire chapter you will note that his fears were unfounded. He eventually made his peace with Esau. By the Spirit of the Lord, we declare that before this year runs out, all your troublers shall be at peace with you in Jesus name.

As we read the text again today, we are looking at God’s promise to Jacob. God told him to go back to Canaan with the assurance that He would deal well with him. In the message version it says “Go back to your homeland and I will treat you well”. This is what the Lord is telling you this year. Do not be afraid of what the year holds. God will treat you well. You are paramount to the Almighty God. He is your Father. He loves you and cares for you. He will treat you well. He shall deal well with you.

Jacob said I crossed the Jordan with just my staff, now I am became two bands. He had become two bands! Yet God said He will now deal well with him. Beloved, you have not seen anything yet. Whatever you witnessed of the Lord’s goodness thus far is just two bands or just a staff. Now God is beginning a new chapter with you. Watch out, things are going to get better for you. Consider all you have and are today as your take-off point. A new beginning is here for you. You shall lose nothing. You shall lose no one. We shall not lose you. You shall not have any anniversary of sorrow. Shame shall be far from your dwelling place.

When God deals well with you, he helps you. He sends you favour and lifts up your head. Things work out well with you. It is an all-round wellness – spirit, soul  and body. Everything will work out well. God will be unusually kind to you. Relax, these and many more shall be your portion henceforth. Just trust Him and obey His instructions and He will deal well with you.

PRAYER: Dear Lord, in line with your promise, please deal well with me in Jesus Name. is not just what you feel, but what you do. Walk in love today.
