AMPLIFYING YOUR FAITH BY THE WORD.
Romans 10:6-11
But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; Romans 10:8
It is a well-known fact that faith is critical to the journey of life. When your faith grows, your possibilities in life multiply. And one way to grow your faith is by consistent feeding on the Word of God. A steady diet of the Word of God keeps faith alive and guarantees consistent victory in life. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The Bible says, “Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4). So, when you are worded, you are faith-filled; and when you are faith-filled, consistent victory is guaranteed (1John 5:4).
A steady diet of the Word of God keeps faith alive and guarantees a continuous flow of evidences and good reports. When the Word is available, your faith is alive; and when your faith is alive, the devil cannot stop your evidences or good reports. Hebrew 11:1-2 makes it clear; “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report.” When your faith is alive, good reports are mandatory in your life; something good must be heard from your life continually. So, hold the Word of God and never let anything disconnect you from the Word. Grow your faith by your intake of the Word and practice the Word that you feed on consistently.
PRAYER: Lord, I ask for the grace and discipline to feed on Your Word always so I can grow my faith. Help me to be consistent in obeying Your Word, Lord, in Jesus name
