BEWARE OF DECEIVERS … (GUARD AGAINST FALSE TEACHERS)
2 John.1:7-11
Jesus at some point in His ministry made a sentence that is key to standing firm in the faith. He said, “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” One thing is certain about the supernatural. It is that, the devil knows those who know the truth and those who are only professing they are free without experiential knowledge/encounter of the same.
You need to understand what the original looks like before you can verify another as fake. This means, a believer who will survive at this end time must be one that is close to the Holy Spirit. He/she must be a believer who reads and meditates on God’s word and pray continually. It is time to increase time-out with God. Create time to be with Him so that, the devil won’t have a free day of deception around you.
The need to guard against false teachers and teachings at this end time is key for any believer who will last. Human philosophies and ideologies of life is fast evading the place of personal encounters with God. Men are giving more attention to what human sense can deliver than creating a balance between human sense and God’s directive about life and destiny.
You need to guard your heart with all diligence [i.e. with all it takes] at a sensitive time as this. This is not the time to use social media affirmations and suggestions that are not in alignment with God’s word to judge what we receive into our heart. Refuse to be carried away with worldly lust and its pride. To scale heights of wisdom and virtue at a time like this, be steadfast and unmovable…always abounding in the word of the Lord for ease of accessing the best wisdom ever.
PRAYERS: I decree and declare that, I shall not be swayed by worldly lust and its charade of well packaged Sin.
