BREAKING FORTH: THE IMMUTABLE LAW OF COMMUNION

1 Corinthians 11:20-30

And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. Verse 24

A great expression of Christian practice is the communion which is also known as the Lord’s supper. This sacred observance was instituted by the Lord Jesus in the last supper he had with his disciples. In 1 Corinthians 11:23-26, Paul recounts Jesus’ words:

For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus’ the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me’

The Lord’s Supper is a reminder of Christ’s sacrifice. It is a veritable means of deepening a believer’s communion with God. It goes beyond mere observance; but as an act of remembrance, empowers the Christian to experience the grace of Christ in a profound way. As an element of the supernatural it enables believers to easily identify with Christ’s death and resurrection

Breaking forth benefits of the Holy Communion includes healing of divers sickness and diseases; Divine protection/exemption from evil; Material blessings and prosperity; and more importantly, deepening a believer’s relationship with Christ Jesus.

PRAYER: As I partake of this covenant year in year out may the blessing thereof be married to my destiny.
