BREAKING FORTH: THE IMMUTABLE LAW OF FAITH
Hebrews 11:1-6
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you’ Matthew 17:20 (KJV)
Today we shall consider the immutable laws of faith as a precondition for breaking forth in life and destiny. Hebrews 11: 1 provides a clear understanding of faith: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. This particular verse emphasizes that faith is not merely a passive belief, but a living force that brings the unseen into reality. It is faith that enables us to break forth from the cocoon of fear. It releases the mind from the prison of doubt and gives power to conquer the impossibilities that face us.
In the bible there are numerous accounts of faith demonstrations serving as the key to unlocking God’s promises and lifting men into their glorious destinies. From the faith of Abraham, who trusted God and became the father of many nations; to Jacob who had running battles in life and yet became the father to the twelve tribes of Israel, down to Joseph who only heard of the promise but yet believed. From the lives of dignitaries who had their names engraved in the roll of honour in Hebrews 11, one learns how to stand firm in the face of overwhelming odds and break forth and away from the limitations imposed by the world.
Dearly beloved, this law of faith is immutable. It is the eternal truth and does not change with time or circumstances. If it was effective for the saints of old, it remains powerful for you today. You only need to open up to the transforming power of God and allow His will to be done in your life. It is hoped that in your journey of destiny, that as you apply this law, it will help you to break forth into victories and fulfil God’s purpose for your lives.
PRAYER: Lord give me great insight to be able to learn from faith personalities in the bible and in the world around me.
