CHARMING PERSONALTY

Acts 11: 22-30

Charm is described as the power of attractiveness. It is a virtue that is needed to attract people to you. As a child of God, your life should not be repelling. Christians are instructed to make disciples of all nations. If you are to fulfil this mandate, then you must have what it takes to draw men to you. All through the lifetime of Jesus, people always throng after Him because He had what it took, which included charm. It is the reflection of the inner spirit of a peaceful person. It allows you to connect with other people and endears you to them.

Certain qualities were observed in the life of Barnabas in Acts 11: 22-30. These qualities made him to stand out. To be a charming person, you must be a reliable and organized person. When you are not organized, stress is inevitable. Charm is indeed a reflection of your core being. It exudes confidence, self esteem, honesty, integrity and truthfulness.

To reflect charm, you must be at peace with yourself, wearing a smile always no matter what you are going through. Present yourself neatly and responsibly. Dirt and untidiness put people away. Imagine if Jesus wore dirty clothes and had body odour with untidy hair, I’m sure the crowd would not follow Him. Do not dress anyhow. The way you present yourself is the way the world will regard you. Before you wear that dress, ask yourself: what would Jesus think of this outfit?

Our lives speak volumes more than our words. Let the Agape love be manifest in your life. Be committed to showing someone kindness no matter how small. Live your life to be a blessing in all ways and on daily basis. Today, as you go out, let your smile be a blessing to someone.
