CONTENDING FOR FAITH – 3 … PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT – Part 2
Jude 1:20-21
Have you ever found out why answers to prayers are sometimes delayed? One of the reasons is linked to the scriptural verse of today. We sometimes pray in alignment with verse 20 leaving out v21…praying in our most holy faith …praying in the spirit and it seems it’s sometimes like a mere exercise. No! It’s not. While you offer prayers to God praying in the spirit, it is expedient you understand that, love of God and love for God are major factors in keeping you strong in faith while awaiting God’s response on your request. Praying in the spirit has a way of aligning you with the mercy of God via His love for you hence, giving the assurance that, He will give you the desires of your heart because of His love for you. When you access the love of God, His mercies automatically flows in your direction. It is expedient you maintain this mind set for ease of divine intervention on any matter of interest.
John chapter 3:16 shows us how much God love the world that He gave His only begotten son for the salvation of mankind. If He can give Jesus to us while we were yet sinners, what then can he not freely give to us when we speak or make our request to Him? Come via the mindset of His love and seek mercy and you will find grace to help in your time of need. (Hebrews 4:16). Don’t forget that, His mercy is eternal life dominated. It can outlast any issue and challenge from both human and demonic forces against your wellbeing.
Wake up today to the realities of the power that is at work within you by praying more in the spirit and walking in the consciousness of His love and mercy while praying. The deep calls unto the deep. You need to become accustomed to the principles that run the spirit’s spheres and have ultimate dominion in the terrestrial realm.
MEDITATION: You can get what you want in life when it’s straight from God’s mind for you. So, promise yourself to pray your way to victory.
