THE WORD GUARANTEE
2 Peter 1:16-21
The Word of God is guaranteed by God Himself. In all ages, what God says is backed up by His own power. It is written that God elevates his word even above his name. To authenticate the potency of his word, when he gave a promise to Abraham, he had to swear. And because there is no greater name to swear with he swore by himself.
And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only son. That in blessing, I will bless thee, and in multiplying, I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies. Genesis 22:16-17
What God wants to pass across here is that his word have guarantee. It will surely come to pass. If it is a promise, it will get to you. If it is a prophecy, it shall surely come to pass. If it is a warning, you better take heed unto it. If it is an instruction please follow it. For therein lies your success and salvation.
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. JOSHUA 1:8
The word is a prophetic package from God. The word has all the powers God world exercise if he were to be physically present in a given situation. The entire scripture is prophecy. It can be applied in all situations. There is nothing you are passing through that has no solution in the word. As we round off the year and move into the new one, focus on what God says and not on what man or situations around you say. When God has spoken, every other voice is just noise. Hold on to His word come what may. You shall be glad you did.
PRAYER: Let it be unto me according to Your word Oh Lord.
