HOW TO FULFILL YOUR GOD-GIVEN ASSIGNMENT
Romans 8: 28 – 30
Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end”. God has a wonderful plan or assignment for his children. These plans put them in the right place at the right time with the right people for the fulfillment of purpose.
God has given everyone an assignment! An assignment is defined as a mission or position to which a person is allotted. We each have a position in the Body of Christ and a distinct mission to fulfil and God has perfectly equipped us to succeed in His assignment as they are God-given.
This means that your nationality, your race, sex, and even where you were born were all decided by God. Everything that has happened to you or is happening to you is never by mistake. They are part of God’s plans for your life. When we say you are geographically assigned, it means there is a place, a city, a location where God wants you. When you are specifically assigned, you are wired to do specific things well.
You must as a matter of urgency discover your assignment. Look inside you. What has God said to you? Where lies your passion? What makes you happy? What makes you angry? What excites you? Answers to these are pointers towards your calling. To fulfill your mission, you must know it. Once you discover what you are here on earth for, do not delay any further in pursuing the goal.
MEDITATION: “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
