OVERCOMING THE WORLD
1 John.3:22, 5:14 -15
Overcomers rule the world. It is imperative to say everyone who wants to be outstanding in his/her endeavors must engage with principles that engender success. While it is good to maximize the opportunities that life brings our ways, it is also expedient to seek God’s face in the place of reading His word, listening to the Holy Spirit and praying in the Spirit [developing our most-holy-faith] so we can have success the-God-kind-of-way].
Worldly temptations will abound on our ways regardless of our status in life. It is our faith in His holy word that will grant us the victory we require in the world especially at a season like this. Our greatest motivation and inspiration must come from a source beyond nature. [i.e. God]. Distractions in form of sin and lust would come our way. We also must be guarded with the word of faith and renewing of our mind by God’s word [i.e. scrutinizing what we feed on coming through the channels of our eyes and ears]. Don’t forget, you will be shaped ultimately by your thoughts.
Get a word from God for each day of your life. Work and walk with the same and you’ll emerge a god to all circumstances you face [Psalm 82:6]. Tell yourself, I’m God’s battle axes. As I think in my heart positively, so shall it be unto me. Confess your greatness and overcoming capacity in the face of the mountains you are currently faced with and they’ll become plain! No mountain can withstand Jesus in you. No mountain before Zerubbabel can stand the test of time. Let your confession of faith override the negative circumstances around you. Keep your spirit up! Overcoming is your birthright! Testify of the same and you’ll have it. [Revelation 12:11]
PRAYERS:
Today, say this to yourself that: Sin shall not reign in my mortal body. I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. I am a winner and not loser. I am a blessing not a defeat. I am a King and Queen in the courts of our God. I am a peculiar creature of the Most High. My Values will not diminish in any way. I shall go forward and have peace as I go out today and for the rest of my life.
