 1 John. 4:1-6

We are in the end times… the infiltration of false teachings and people having itching ears will abound. It’s imperative to discern truth from false teachings. Do you still read your bible? Do you still take time to speak to God and get the guidance of the Holy Spirit in decision making process of your life? Are you ready to seek God’s face in prayers and dedication of quality time to studying His word? That a teaching is popular doesn’t make it good for your consumption. The Subject matter of the love of Christ in homes is fast fading out. Are you part of the statistics of people that serve God basically with no offshoot of power from your spirit? When you are in a worship service, where is your heart? Is it on the mundane things of life or eternity? Is it on show of flesh and skills than balance of the same with optimum attention for the master to be pleased?

Do you talk to God only when you need His attention on matters of interest? When faced with challenges of life, do you call God first or you call men? The challenge of creating a balance in all we do at this end time is enormous. Hence, the need to have superior and lasting backup of the eternal God. Do you still experience miracles in your life or it has become a forgone issue? Do you still believe in faith or only on what your human capacity can deliver? Please note that, man is limited in his approach to life than the maker of heaven and earth.

How would you test if a spirit is of God or not when you don’t relate well with the Spirit of God on a per second basis? Don’t join the statistics of them that, give their total attention to acquiring earthly riches and possession than creating a balance of not extoling such above the place/knowledge of God in their lives. Do you still believe in tithing? Do you still believe in Praying and fasting? Do you still believe in living by the standards of holiness as described in the scriptures?

While God does not expect us to be useless to the earth we currently live in. He equally expects us to prioritize our decision making in favor of His nature in us.

As you go out today, reflect on the above and submit yourself to the leading of the Holy Spirit so you can achieve maximum success in life and destiny.

MEDITATION:

I will be part of the statistics of them that are the doers of the word of God and not just a hearer.
