THE DIVINE ARMOUR
Eph. 6:10-21
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand.
An armour is described as a protective layer over a body, vehicle, or other object intended to deflect or diffuse damaging forces or a metal plate, protecting a ship military vehicle, or aircraft. Having the overview knowledge of what a physical armour looks like, one can begin to imagine how powerful and protective the armour of God is.
The bible makes us to understand that our adversary the devil is like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour. In view of this, you need God’s protection in form of ARMOUR.
What are these armour that you must put on.
- The word of God – Eph. 6:17.
- The Helment of salvation – Eph. 6:17
- The Shield of faith – Eph. 6:16
- The breast plate of righteousness – Eph. 6:14
- Prayer – Eph. 6:18
As Christians, allow the word of God to dwell in you richly to guide yourself against the devil. You must not allow your salvation to slip away from your hand, hold on to that which you have received, of course, you cannot trade with God without your faith.
Do not compromise your righteousness. Holy living is a must. Any loop hole will give the devil a strong hold. Pray always. It has been said times without number that a prayerless Christian is a powerless Christian. Encourage yourself always to be in the presence of the Lord. Ps. 91. God bless you mightily in Jesus Name.
